One Week at a Time

The due date is now just one week away and even though the baby will most likely come late, we are on red alert status now.

Difficult Friday night for Mrs Co.Il. I was asleep all through it but heard about it in the morning. For a while, she thought the baby was getting ready to enter the world, but in the end it was a false alarm.

With nine people invited for lunch would have been interesting had we not been there. But we stayed put and had a fantastic meal with great company.

Went to Tal Bagels for lunch on Friday and Emek was teeming with people and traffic which was beyond belief. As crowded as I have ever seen it. Met the whole world at Tal Bagels which was nice.

Rounded off our stereotypical Friday in Katamon by purchasing a few things at Super-Moshava. A few things which cost 171 NIS.

Once saw someone rack up a 2500 NIS bill at Super Moshava!

My highest was 850.

I can beat that. Saw a New York woman pile on a 4000 shekel bill just before last Rosh Hashana.

We were going to go to Tal Bagels on Friday but when we got there, it was way too full. What was it Yogi Berra said? "Nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded."

Anon I - Hope you bought some good things for that 850 bill

Miriam - Oy vey!

Anon II - True. Took a while for us to get served as well.

SW - Think when the decision is to be made about when one will give birth, the tail wags the dog. How have your Super Moshava exploits been going?

You could also try the Shuk last minute before Shabbat- stays open late, lots of good food, and a millionth of the price...

Thanks for lunch!
