Snow Job
The snow has stopped, is melting and now everything is getting back to normal.
But while it was happening you would have thought that it was something far more menacing falling than little white snowflakes.
Like I mentioned yesterday, if you wanted a cab the wait was at least 30 minutes and more like 75 in reality.
We tried to order food for dinner and no-one was delivering. It was as if they were petrified to go outside. And North American and Europeans would laugh because this was no blizzard we are talking about. Ultimately it was just a couple of inches.
I guess it is a true indicator of Hashem's presence because it boggles the mind how a country who is brought to a standstill by snow has the wherewithal to not only withstand but defeat a number of hostile neighbors.

That's a brilliant observation and comparison. Israel is quite the amazing place.
Israluv - I know. They don't breed them tough here like New Yorkers.
Anon - He helps. Glad he's on our side. Then again the other side tend to think he is on theirs.
Shoshana - Thankyou :) Does anyone even blink an eye in NY when it snows?
Now you know what england is like in the snow! The country totally shuts down and traffic is usually backed up for hours. We were once about a mile away from home in the mall and because they hadn't gritted the streets everyone was trying to use the same roads to go home and it took us about 8 hours to get home!
You couldnt even leave the car and walk cause they shut the whole car park down cause of all the cars trying to get out.
I have a family member that was stranded in london due to the wisps of a-might-be-snow-flake
I have heard that in israel people panic at the sight of snow.
living in NY I can vouch that school is open unless theres at least 18inches on the ground
LOL!
I think real snowfall would give them a coronary!
No - but where I'm from, Alabama, people quake in their boots the moment the word snow is said.
