One Hit Wonder IV - She's Like The Wind

To be fair to Patrick Swayze, the fact that he is even a one hit wonder is surprising.

When I first heard She's Like the Wind I had no idea that it was him doing the singing, but all credit to him. He can sing pretty well.

It’s a good song which I think stands the test of time. Even more props to him for the fact that he also wrote it.

The song rode on the back of the massive success of Dirty Dancing but was overshadowed by I’ve Had the Time of My Life which took home a Grammy and an Academy Award.

It still did very well in the charts and you can hear it now and then on the radio today. Go to any Karaoke bar and you will probably hear it there also.

After being under the radar a bit, Swayze made the news recently for defending Mel Gibson after his outburst.

IYWI - Thanks

Anon - You must have been around 12-13 around the release of the movie.

SW - What would you do if you were 15 again?

Kate - :)

JC - That he isn't an anti-semite. Haven't finished the book but you can still have it back if you want.

.co.il - take ur time with it

anonym00kie - what people seem to forget is that drinking TAKES AWAY ones inhibitions and u get to see the real person underneath.

Thats why I dont drink-dont want anyone to know I'm an anti-semite
